Case study

BaseCommand

Renewal intelligence that reads your CRM as-is. It maps the renewal data you already have, computes what you are missing, and runs the renewal motion on top of it.

The problem

Renewal teams cannot see their own renewals. The data is spread across a CRM that was built for sales, with the fields that matter half-filled and inconsistent from one account to the next. The usual fix is a data project: months of cleanup and migration before anyone gets value. Most teams never get there.

What I built

BaseCommand is a renewal intelligence platform built to work on a real, messy CRM without that data project. It has three parts.

01

A canonical field model

Reads the CRM as it is today, maps the fields that already exist to a clean renewal model, and computes the ones that are missing. Every value carries its provenance, so you can always see whether a number came from the CRM, was computed, or was entered by hand.

02

Background agent producers

Agents run on a schedule, find what changed, and draft the next move: a renewal risk brief, an expansion play, an outreach email. Nothing acts on its own. Each draft lands in an Inbox where a person approves or edits it before anything leaves the building.

03

A renewal cockpit

Health scoring, renewal forecasting, portfolio segmentation, and expansion signals, all computed from the canonical model and updated as the underlying data moves.

The hard parts

Field-model inversion

Turning an inconsistent, sales-shaped CRM into a reliable renewal data model without asking the customer to clean or migrate anything first.

Health scoring with provenance

A multi-source score that stays honest about what it knows and degrades gracefully when a signal is missing, instead of inventing confidence it does not have.

Agent governance

Autonomous producers that are genuinely useful yet never take an unapproved action, with a human-in-the-loop Inbox as the control surface.

Built with

Next.js and React, Supabase (Postgres with row-level security and auth), Anthropic Claude for the agents, HubSpot OAuth for CRM data, and Vercel. It is a monorepo spanning a marketing site, an authenticated dashboard, a native HubSpot app, and a shared design-token package. Designed, architected, and built end to end.

See it live

The live demo signs you in as a demo user on a sample renewal book of 55 accounts. No signup, synthetic data, nothing wired to a real CRM.
